Adhesive medical device designed to protect the exit site of a central venous catheter (CVC).

Solukat One Week™ is a sterile, single-use device designed to protect the emergence site of a Central Venous Catheter for 7 days, in accordance with the protocol for weekly replacement of a central venous catheter (CVC).

The perforated polyurethane film of Solukat One Week™ is a soft-touch material that allows the skin to breathe while ensuring optimal adhesion. Its silicone adhesive is gentle on skin even the most sensitive and guarantees atraumatic removal. Its transparent window allows the emergence point to be monitored during each dialysis session.

The wear time of our device is 7-day (3 sessions), provided that their skin does not sweat profusely, either naturally or as a result of sporting activities. Thus, Solukat One Week™ reduces the risk of infection by limiting manipulation of the emergence point and consumption of materials, while ensuring effective protection of the emergence point during this time.

Solukat One Week™ can be used in combination with Solukat Si™ for optimal protection between dialysis sessions. Apply Solukat Si™at the end of the session and remove it at the start of the next session: It will create a barrier that is impervious to bacteria and water, providing complete protection for the external part of the catheter (the patient can continue their daily activities, including showering).
